With robust capabilities in both highway and urban environments, Gatik Carrier serves as an all-encompassing solution that integrates advanced software and hardware powering the fleet, facilitating effortless integration into customers' logistics operations.About the roleAs Gatik continues its rapid growth and expansion, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will play a critical role in managing the full Purchase-to-Pay cycle, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and fostering strong vendor relationships. Your responsibilities will span invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliation, and contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of accounts payable principles, hands-on experience with NetSuite, and the ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.This role is onsite 5 days a week at our Mountain View, CA office!What you'll do

• Process full-cycle accounts payable, including receiving, reviewing, coding, and entering invoices into NetSuite.
• Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness. Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices, adhering to company policies and payment terms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records within NetSuite.
• Support vendor relationships, responding to inquiries and addressing any payment-related issues.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and related accruals.
• Assist the setting up of weekly payment runs in Netsuite.
• Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies. Respond to employee inquiries regarding expense report status.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.
• Assist with the implementation of new policies and procedures as part of the finance function organization.
• Prepare reporting and analytics related to AP/AR for management review.
• Assist with 1099 processing and reporting.
• Support other accounting and finance tasks as needed.What we're looking for
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred; High school diploma required.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and processes.
  • Experience with NetSuite is required, and proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred.
