EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, SUPPLY CHAIN
RICHMOND
The Opportunity
BC Ferries is seeking a true subject matter expert with proven
experience leading the development and implementation of Supply
Chain strategy and operations, including procurement, supplier
management, and warehouse activities. Reporting to the Chief
Financial Officer, the Executive Director, Supply Chain leads the
development and implementation of new systems, strategies, and
processes for purchasing operations and supply management, while
providing leadership and oversight to approximately 65 employees
including management, administrators, and technical personnel
engaged in the procurement of goods and services, as well as
management of corporate assets.
The Supply Chain Management function focuses on supplier
performance management including implementing procurement solutions
that meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements, supply
chain cost reduction, as well as managing and controlling inventory
and delivery systems in the support of both vessel and land based
operating facilities.

Additional information
The target salary range: $197,600 - $247,000 per annum. The
starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate's
knowledge, experience, and internal equity. Starting salary may
exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
