- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in an applied research setting, or
similar.
- Experience working with 3D meshes and using automation tools
(such as Python) to process the meshes to generate anthropometric
insights.
- Technical experience in creating studies and analyzing data
using Python, Matlab, R or custom software.
- Experience with usability studies and surveys as well as vision
science paradigms that span across all aspects related to how
humans perceive from display and visual contents.Preferred
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience conducting UX research on products and
working with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and
above).
- 3 years of experience managing projects, and working in a
large, matrixed organization.
- Experience with CAD tools, such as Solidworks, NX, MeshLab, and
simulation tools such as Abaques.
- Experience using anthropometry and drive design of wearable or
other hardware devices.
- Knowledge of display and optical systems, and how the
parameters affect human visual perception, and experience with
measuring these impacts to drive product design.
- Human factors and ergonomics research background or

Quantitative User Experience Researcher (Quant UXR), you'll help
inform your team of UXers, product managers, and engineers about
user needs. You'll play a critical role in creating useful, usable,
and delightful products. You'll work with stakeholders across
functions and levels and have impact at all stages of product
development.You will investigate user behavior and user needs using
empirical research methods such as logs analysis, survey research,
path modeling, and regression analysis. Quant UXRs vary in
background and use skills from computer science, quantitative
social science, econometrics, data science, survey research,
psychology, human-computer interaction, and other fields. You'll
combine skills in behavioral research design, statistical methods,
and general programming to improve user experience.The Quantitative
UXR community at Google will help you do your best work. You'll
have the opportunity to work with and learn from UXRs across Google
through regular meetups, mentor programs, and access to internal

full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity +
benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and

location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can

- Create UX research strategy on Vision Science and 3D Human
Modeling areas of the product, align with cross-functional teams
and execute on the strategy with research results, reports, and
recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (PM, Design, and
Engineering) and internal teams (UXRs) to drive product
impact.
- Design Vision Science or 3D Human Modeling studies with
appropriate methodologies, and deliver high quality analysis and
results to drive product development and strategy.
- Drive product impact by delivering solid data-driven results
and clear communications using verbal presentations, written
documents, or direct communications that deliver the best results
for the situation.
- Be a dependable team member by regularly checking in with
stakeholders and clearly communicating needs, deliverables, and
