• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the fieldAbout You:You are a passionate and talented researcher with a strong theoretical foundation, a proven ability to conduct impactful research, and a passion for delivering real-world impact via responsible AI. In order to set you up for success as a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:
  • PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong publication record in top machine learning conferences or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ECCV)
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: social impact of AI, reinforcement learning, multimodal agents, computer visionIn addition, the following would be an advantage:
    • Passion for fighting against misinformation!
    • A proven track record of publications and relevant experience in reinforcement learning
    • Experience with training, evaluating, or interpreting large language models
    • Proven ability to design and execute independent research projectsThe US base salary range for this full-time position is between $161,000 - $245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
