Job Description:

Assists with cutting, preparation, and display of meat products. Ensures positive company image through courteous and efficient service to customers and colleagues. Performs duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and adheres to health and safety regulations. Maintains high quality standards and maximizes sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, and merchandising product. Demonstrates excellent cutting skills, strong communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.Key Responsibilities:

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products.
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise.
• Checks product for quality and freshness.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Mentors and supports Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.Requirements:
  • 14+ months retail experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
