**Seafood Order Writer Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Seafood Order Writer to join our team at Whole Foods Market. In this role, you will be responsible for replenishing and merchandising seafood products, participating in WFM programs for purchasing and promotions, and monitoring inventory control.

Responsibilities

• 
  Replenishment and Merchandising: Replenish seafood products through proper buying procedures and maintain a visually appealing display.
  
  
• 
  Inventory Control: Monitor and act upon open PO reports for both purchases and credits in an accurate and timely manner.
  
  
• 
  Customer Service: Ensure orders for product are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns, and provide excellent customer service.
  
  
• 
  Financial Management: Maintain financial profitability by meeting and exceeding purchasing and sales targets.
  
  
• 
  Operations: Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, and ensure accuracy of signs and pricing.
  
  
  
  Requirements

    Education and Experience: 12+ months retail experience.
    
    
  • 
    Skills and Abilities:
    
    • 
      
    • Comprehensive knowledge of seafood products.
      
    • Working knowledge and application of all seafood merchandising expectations.
      
    • Strong basic math skills.
      
    • Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ordering systems.
      
    • Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

      Physical Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
        
      • In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
