Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our medical team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine and
medical imaging techniques.*Required Qualifications for a Nuclear
Med Tech:** Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology
program. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologist in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB upon hire or
within 4 months of hire.* Preferred: Siemens equipment experience*
Prior experience in acute care hospital setting* California
Department of Public Health (CDPH) License in Nuclear Medicine*
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear
Medicine (NM) or NMTCB for graduates after 2007* BLS*Nuclear
Medicine Technician's Duties** Performs Nuclear Medicine scanning
procedures to include instructing patients and selecting
techniques* Positions, transfers and properly immobilizes patients
as required* Performs scanning, reconstruction of proper images,
and post processing* Preforms QA on all images prior to ending the
exam and sending images to PACS* Prepares radioactive doses,
calculating an confirming the activity to be used* Administers
radioactive, adjunctive, and imaging medications. This includes,
but is not limited to, the following: Oral, intravenous,
intramuscular, intradermal, subcutaneous, inhalationEOEJob Type:
