Multimodality is critical to delighting users and drive some of the most important use cases for Gemini (e.g., creativity, information seeking, interactivity). You will drive the core visual capabilities across web and mobile. You will also own user understanding/UXR, latency, and UX/UI delight.Key responsibilities:

• Partner closely with Engineering, UX Design, Data Science, UX Research, and Marketing
• Understand users deeply through data science, user feedback, and user research
• Work integrally with UX to design elegant, delightful journeys for web and across platforms
• Develop features and roadmaps based on user feedback, UX research, metrics, market trends, and market alternatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and launch innovative features within Gemini, leveraging the latest advances in AI and large language models
• Stay at the forefront of AI technology, continuously exploring new opportunities to enhance user experiences and drive product growthAbout YouIn order to set you up for success as a Group Product Manager at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:
  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • Deep passion for and understanding of Gen AI technologies and market trends
  • Deep passion for and experience with developing elegant consumer user experiences
  • Experience developing full-stack (UX plus AI/ML/back-end), deeply technical products
  • Track record of leading large cross-functional teams to land ambitious strategies
  • Extremely strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with proven ability to prepare compelling presentations communicating product vision and strategy
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Track record of driving exceptional results and growthIn addition, the following would be an advantage:
    • Deep technical experience on AI/ML models and emergent capabilities
    • Track record of high impact, high complexity product launchesThe US base salary range for this full-time position is between $168,000 - $266,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
