Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Director for their Acute
Rehab Team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical interpretation and determinations for acute
inpatient rehabilitation authorization requests
Review clinical records and engage in discussions with external
physicians to gather additional clinical information
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure
compliance with national guidelines and policies
Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree
5+ years of direct clinical patient care experience post residency
or fellowship
Board Certified in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty
A current and unrestricted medical license in at least one
jurisdiction
No current sanctions from Federal or State Governmental
organizations
