Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Payor Credentialing to
oversee and optimize the payer enrollment and credentialing process
for their physician group.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, hire, and lead a credentialing team to manage payer
enrollment
Establish workflows, policies, and procedures to streamline the
enrollment process
Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth onboarding
and resolve credentialing-related issues
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related
field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare credentialing and
payer enrollment
At least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team
Experience in monitoring Clearinghouse activity and setting up
payors with EDI, ERA, and EFT processes
Knowledge of technology and software, including Google suite
applications and spreadsheets
