VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic, located Northeast of Sacramento, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our one-of-a-kind veterinary hospital!Highly competitive salary with $12/hour shift differential for overnight shifts.Job Responsibilities:Provide compassionate nursing care for all patientsCompleting treatments for outpatient or hospitalized patientsVenipuncture and IV catheter placementAssisting veterinarians with surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesiaTriaging and stabilizing incoming emergency patientsParticipate in client communication and education, explaining medications, follow-up care, diet recommendations, and general animal careOur hospital campus is on nine beautiful acres in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains, set amongst oak trees, a creek, and a pond and shared with wildlife.
